- Media: Photos of equipment nameplates, interior wiring, and overall physical context captured for engineering review.
- Device Identifiers: A unique, anonymous ID generated by your device to ensure submission reliability and prevent duplicate entries.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used for the following purposes:
- Engineering Services: To perform requested Arc Flash studies, label generation, and system analyses.
- Asset Management: To maintain a historical record of your facility's electrical infrastructure, enabling asset lifecycle tracking and maintenance planning.
- Future Services: To provide digital dashboards and facility management tools for owners and technicians.
- Communication: To contact you regarding project clarification, delivery of results, or app updates.
- App Functionality: To maintain your local project history and ensure secure data transfers.
3. Data Transfer and Storage
We utilize industry-standard third-party providers to process your data:
- Hosting & Storage: Data and photos are securely stored using Cloudflare R2 and D1 services.
- Notifications: Email alerts regarding your submissions are processed via Resend.
4. Data Retention and Security
Project data and associated photos are retained by us to maintain a permanent historical record of the facility's assets. This allows owners and engineers to track equipment age, condition, and maintenance requirements over time.
We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect your data against unauthorized access, though no electronic transmission is 100% secure.
5. Your Rights and Choices
In accordance with the laws of Michigan, USA, you have the following rights:
- Access: You may view all data currently stored on your device through the App's "Equipment Overview" and project screens.
- Deletion: You may delete your local contact profile and request that our servers "forget" your contact information at any time via the App settings.
